Really enjoyed our short break in Bramblewick Cottage over the New Year. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal the cottage provided for all our needs - clean, well-equipped and very cosy. Friendly pub just over the road. We had 2 dogs who enjoyed plenty of walks from the cottage. Highly recommend the cottage and the area. Visited Jervaulx Abbey and Richmond.

Paul Hallam, Doncaster,

Very comfortable & clean cottage with everything we needed for a lovely break away. Location is fab for exploring the Masham area and within easy reach of Nidderdale Valley too. We had loads of options for riding our mountain bikes on the bridleways and quiet lanes. Nice village pub with friendly owners. We walked into Masham a couple of times via the footpaths - to the cafes, pubs and shops. Highly recommend a stay here. 😊

Ali Powell, Shrewsbury,

We have had a wonderful week in Bramblewick Cotttage, there was everything you needed for a really relaxing time away from home. David and Alison have thought about dog loving people like ourselves, with dog bowls and towel for wet walks. There is plenty of lovely walks from Bramblewick Cottage, with plenty of local maps in the cottage to help you. The wood burner was a delight on the cooler days to help keep you warm and relax.
David and Alison are helpful, and will reply very quickly to questions. We will be retuning next year.

Debbie & William, Norfolk,

We enjoy amazing weather while staying at Bramblewick cottage - eating outside on the patio was lovely. Butterfly bush at the back covered in butterflies all week gorgeous to see. Cottage very clean and comfortable, nice white bedding and plenty of towels. Wi-Fi is excellent and smart tv good to have as many cottages don’t provide them. Village is beautiful and lots of walks from the door for our dogs.

Hilary, Shildon,

Had a fabulous time here the house had everything you could want, well equipped kitchen or a great pub just up the road if you dont want to cook. Great location for walking or exploring the areas further afield
Very comfortable and would certainly recommend it

John W, Dover,

What a peaceful, comfortable and cozy spot for a relaxing holiday. Fab location for a variety of walks, pubs, and cozy evenings by the fire. We were so comfortable and made much use of the maps and local info - as well as the well equipped kitchen. David and Alison were most generous with their time and attention to detail. We felt well looked after and would love to return one day.

Heather and Tim, Cambridge,

We had a wonderful week in your lovely cottage, well worth the wait due to covid lockdowns. Was wonderfully clean. Loved watching the birds. Beautiful village, morning dog walks on the green, stunning. I am sure we will return.

Pam & David, Ipswich,

A delightful, characterful cottage, well located for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Clean and tidy, well appointed, plenty of outside space and thoughtful touches to welcome guests. We enjoyed our stay very much and would return.

Hilary, Calne, Wiltshire,

Cottage is lovely, comfortable and well located to enjoy the area. Despite Covid 19, we had a fabulous week.

Doreen, Woolton Village, Liverpool,

If you want a nice out of the way stay would thoroughly recommend Bramblewick. Second stay at this cottage, so knew what we were going to. The local pub is about 200 yards, it also does food. Overall a great cottage in a lovely quiet area - have already recommended to friends.

Mr Muir, Paisley, Renfrewshire,

Great cottage and very well equipped. Nice and cosy too in winter.

Mrs Henderson, Pitlochry, Perthshire,

Bramblewick Cottage is charming, nestled in the Yorkshire Dales. Views amazing and extremely cosy. Wonderful bird life in the garden. The owner was very helpful when we experienced problems with the heating, nothing too much trouble and we received a lovely welcome pack on arrival. We didn't want to leave this lovely cottage and will most definitely return.

Mrs Carter, Boston, Lincolnshire,

Lovely cottage, well located, ideal for dogs.

Suzanne & Sarah-Jane, Carn Brea, Cornwall,

Very peaceful village, just a stone’s throw away from the Nidderdale valley. Comfortable, clean and very well equipped.

Mrs Bathurst, Aylesbury, Bucks,

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The welcome pack was very much appreciated. Very well equipped with everything you would wish for. There was a lovely sitting area with views over the fields. We would love to go back.

Richard & Jan, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk,

Cottage was very good, comfortable, parking easy. WiFi was one of the best I've experienced in a holiday cottage. Also enjoyed the range of birds that came to the feeders.

Mr Fitzpatrick, Stockton Heath, Cheshire,

What a fabulous little cottage Bramblewick is. It's an excellent location to explore from and also has the benefit of a fantastic pub. Great food and people at The Black Swan.

Mr Spurgeon, Halstead, Essex,

A cottage with a location - lovely quaint village and a proper real ale pub that serves good quality food (and great service). We liked the cottage very much which is well equipped (large fridge freezer, microwave, lots of crockery, log burner, dog bowl, dog towel, drying clothes rail - and lots lots more). Everything ran smoothly and everything worked - the most important thing for us from a safety viewpoint was that the dogs were safe in the back garden and they were. The 2 bathrooms are also great - shower and cleanliness etc. Overall, this is well thought out and a very serviceable property.

Ms Gregory, Nottingham,

Peace and quiet in the countryside, sheep in the field next door, lambs opposite, beautifully kept cottage and village. Nice local pub .... dogs welcome in the bar but not in the restaurant, 5 minute drive from Masham and close to many interesting places to visit and walk the dogs. We felt very much at home.

Mrs MacLeod, Stamford, Lincolnshire,

Bramblewick Cottage was a superb base for exploring the North Yorkshire Dales. It was very comfortable and pet friendly for our two dogs. A lovely cottage set in a superb location.

Mr Battershill, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire,

A very comfortable property that is bigger than the outside photograph appears. Very clean and great location.
